Pâques en Allemagne / Easter in Germany

Hejsa (c'est bonjour en danois),

vous m'excuserez- je n'ai pas vraiment la tête à bloguer ces jours-ci. Je veux simplement vous dire que mon séjour en Allemagne, quoique court, fût très agréable. C'était bien de revoir mes amis d'Osnabrück que je n'avais d'ailleurs pas vus depuis presque 2 ans. On a beaucoup jasé, dansé, mangé, dépensé, mais surtout on a bien ri. J'ai cependant réalisé à quel point Copenhague me manquait. Même si j'ai eu du bon temps en Allemagne, j'étais très heureuse d'être de retour chez moi. Je me sens tellement bien ici et j'ai l'impression d'être une bien meilleure personne depuis mon arrivée il y a déjà plus de 3 mois. J'ai le sentiment que mon retour au Québec (surtout mon retour à la réalité) sera très difficile... vaut mieux ne pas y penser maintenant.

Bonne nouvelle: Frederik revient de l'Australie dimanche.

Hejsa, (that's hello in Danish)

you will have to excuse me- I'm not really in the mood to blog these days. I just wanted to tell you shortly about my little trip to Germany during the Easter holidays. Danes usually get a week off for Easter, so I decided to go visit my good old friends in Osnabrück. I hadn't seen them in nearly two years and it was so good to see them all again. We talked, danced, ate, drank, but mostly we laughed- a lot. I realized on my way there how badly I missed Copenhagen. I definately call it home now. I love it here and I feel like I'm such a better person. I think it will be hard to go back home (Canada, that is) and to go back to reality. I feel like I live in a little bubble here, which is not completly false. Copenhagen is pretty much isolated from the rest of Europe, and the rest of the country for that matter (I guess that's a phenomenon you find in many capitals). Anyway, I better not think about all this right now.
