First, let me mention that the first entry was written a while ago. I didn't have time to publish it.

Second, I have updates!

As many of you already know, I got a Housing Offer!

J'ai reçu une offre pour habiter à Tietgen Kollegiet!! Quand vous aurez vu les photos, vous comprendrez pourquoi je me suis empressée d'accepter cette offre.

Ever since I came back from my first visit to Denmark in August 2008, I had been dreaming about living at Tietgen Kollegiet, mainly for its spectacular and innovativ design. Si je ne me trompe pas, la résidence (kollegiet se traduit littéralement par collège, mais c'est plutôt une résidence universitaire dans notre jargon à nous)... bref, la résidence a gagné des prix en architecture.

L'autre mise à jour c'est que le grand départ se fait dans 41 jours et que d'ici là il y aura tellement de choses à faire, d'amis à voir, de paperasse à remplir... ouff!

Hello my name is Jessica, I'm from Canada!

Wow ça rime en plus. Je pourrais pratiquement tout coller ça et dire, “Hello! My name is JessiCanada”. Haha, rigolo, hein?

So I decided a while ago I would do a video blog, if such a term actually exists. Basically, it will consists in video entries (and sometimes written entries) in either English or French (or maybe German if I feel like it).

I am not in Denmark yet.

I will be there in exactly two months... and I can’t waiiiit!

En attendant, il sera plus question de la démarche (visa, billet d’avion) et des nouvelles que je recevrai de l’université, d’ici peu, je l’espère.

Also, I might post some interesting links. I know how much I loved visiting blogs of McGillians (or any students) on exchange at KU (Københavns Universitet- University of Copenhagen) and reading everything I could find about Denmark.

In the meantime, I’m just counting the days til the big departure. Wouhouuu!
